How
to Treat Ear Problems

Pet
Safe Weed Killer (please don't
use herbicides around pets or children!)
Recipe #1: 1
gallon full strength vinegar, 1
cup orange oil, 1 teaspoon
mild liquid soap
Recipe #2: 1 gallon full strength
vinegar, 1 cup orange oil, 1 cup molasses (may attract
bees), 1 teaspoon mild liquid soap
Recipe #3: 1
gallon water, 1 gallon bleach, 1/4 teaspoon dish soap
Recipe #4: 1
gallon vinegar, 1 container salt
Recipe #5: Straight
vinegar (best when used in direct sun on a hot day)
There are 3 different strengths
of vinegar: 5% is regular vinegar, 10% is pickling vinegar
and 20% is the strongest. 20% is dangerous and needs
to be handled carefully. Avoid contact with skin and
breathing the fumes. 5 and 10% (if you can find it) should
be fine for these recipes.

Deskunk-er (peee-u!)
1 quart (2-16 oz. bottles) hydrogen
peroxide, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1 teaspoon dish soap (Dawn
works best)
Mix together (do not add water!)
and sponge over the dog. Rinse well with water. Do
not make this up ahead and store it! The mixture will
generate oxygen gas and can become explosive!
Warning: The above mixture may
cause a lightening of coat color!
Urine
Scent Killer (peee-u again!)
2 tablespoons all fabric bleach,
1 cup Listerine mouth
wash, 2 tablespoons vinegar.
This concoction is for use outdoors,
such as patios, patio furniture, or kennels. It may be
too messy and too strong for use indoors on any type
of fabric.
